Works very well, i finally got rid of the Youtube Short slop when i try to find for something, it's honestly really annoying try to search for a video and only see slop

Remove youtube algorythm. Good for my Internet habit.

Really great, but as of late the "hide explore, trending" options hides the "You" menu instead, which includes history, playlists and all kind of stuff I actually want to be available. Please fix it.

Game changer - easily remove some of the more distracting elements of YouTube to stop the endless scrolling.

It was a great extension, but it currently no longer hides recommendations from the end screen.

Doesn't work in mobile. It breaks touch when reply button is accidently touched.

Works exactly as intended. I wanted to remove YouTube comments because they're brainrot and I have a bad habit of reading them anyways. It removed YouTube comments so I'm happy.

It does a lot of other really nice QoL things as well so bonus. But yeah the comments are what I really wanted gone.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to successfully remove the end screen recommendations anymore.

When I first installed this 2023 it worked great; I could block all the algorithmic parts of YouTube.
But it hasn't been updated since April 2024, and parts of it are starting to break, most notably the end-screen recommendations have started appearing again.
Using uBlock Origin, you can create filters to do pretty much everything that Unhook can do, so I will not be using this extension any more. If you don't want do bother with uBO filters, then Unhook may still be useful to you.
