- Rated 4 out of 5by Gabby, 2 years agoMinus one star as there is no option to not lock one password. As someone with a single user desktop, this is more an annoyance coming from Bitwarden but enough to make me rethink.

posted 2 years agoHey Gabby! If you have both the 1Password Extension and the desktop app installed you can connect the extension to the app and then set 1Password's auto-lock to "Never" under Settings > Security > Auto-lock in the 1Password desktop app to achieve the sort of behavior you're looking for.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14128572, 2 years agoI like the UI of the desktop app and the UI of the browser extension, but the website could look better and it should have a dark mode option. I like the passkey support. I removed one star because 1Password is not open source.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 17193378, 2 years agoDisabling "Automatically lock 1Password" does not work. I still have to enter the master password every single time I open the browser...
Edit: Switching from LibreWolf to standard Firefox seems to work.Developer response

- Rated 4 out of 5by David, 3 years ago1password has helped me over and over to keep track of the increasing complexities of online life. Thank you1 My one complaint is that whenever there is an update to firefox, I have to remove the 1password extension and add it back in for it to continue working and that is frustrating. Not frustrating enough to stop using but worth a fix or explanation??

Having to uninstall + reinstall the extension for each update certainly isn't expected behavior, so if you'd send us a message at [email protected] we'd be happy to see what's happening here. - Rated 4 out of 5by nunya bizz, 3 years ago
