posted a year agoWe're aware that YouTube has been intermittently testing strategies to show either ads or their anti-adblocking wall. However, in some cases we've found that your settings might have changed which is why ads are suddenly appearing. - Rated 5 out of 5by neo, 2 years agoI love adblock plus. Unfortunately, YouTube began threatening to block videos, so I was forced to put it on the allow list. Other sites are also stepping up their attacks so I don't know how much longer blocking will be allowed. Greedy_bastards.

posted 2 years agoTwitch goes to great lengths to ensure that their ads remain unblocked, and they have an entire department dedicated to circumventing ad blockers. We're just a tiny team and it's been tough to work against our well-financed opponents. That said, we're constantly on the lookout for ways to make ABP better and continue to look for ways to get around Twitch's enormous ad blocking circumvention efforts.
