I looked to see what Yahoo mail uses currently when it installed on my computer and switched out "yahoo.com" to "aol.com" and it works perfectly.
I can't post URLs here but if you know the https and mail.aol.com add:
/mrd/mail/any/compose?src=mailto&url=%s
There is a way to use javascript to do the same thing this extension does manually. Use ctrl+shift+k and look up how to do it with navigator.registerProtocolHandler (must be done while you are on the AOL mail page and afterwards look for a button to appear in the top browser frame). - Rated 5 out of 5by Adrián Ismael Sánchez, a year ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15291916, a year agoDitto to what Monique said, this add-on only opens the AOL Mail page, but does not start a new message, let alone fill in the address of the recipient, nor the subject line. Would give it negative stars for wasting my time, if I could!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Monique, 2 years agoThe add-on only opens Aol Mail welcome page, it does not open a new message of which the fields recipient and subject would be prefilled. Besides, since it opens Aol welcome page in the same tab, you don't even see anymore the email address you clicked on.
