Argus by Mathias Schlolaut

Argus helps users identify common interaction options in cookie consent banners by highlighting relevant buttons using customisable colours.

The extension distinguishes between buttons for:

• accepting cookies,
• rejecting cookies, and
• opening cookie or consent settings.

Users can choose the highlight colour for each type of button individually.

Argus operates automatically on supported websites once the required permission has been granted. It analyses cookie consent banners and visually highlights recognised interaction options without requiring the user to start the analysis manually.

Argus is currently experimental. Its ability to recognise interaction options depends on the language used by the cookie consent banner. The set of languages that Argus can currently recognise is limited and will be extended as the extension is developed further.

Argus does not collect or transmit user data.
