AutoStyler – Themes for Autodarts by Florian Frei

AutoStyler restyles play.autodarts.com to your taste – from a calm dark blue at home to full neon arcade for the machine at the club. The menu lives inside the page instead of in a popup, so you see every change right where it happens.

── THE MENU LIVES IN THE PAGE ──
A round icon sits in the bottom right corner, discreet by design and even more restrained during a match. One click opens a drawer built to match the site's own menus. No dimming overlay behind it, because the page is the very thing you are adjusting. Drag a slider and the page follows along – no reload, no second window. The icon can be dragged anywhere in the window and remembers where you put it.

── THIRTEEN READY-MADE THEMES ──
Midnight, Neon Arcade, Emerald, Magma, Northern Light, Royal Gold, Cyber Lime, Amber, Steel, Frosted, Panorama, Vitrine and Paper. One click each. "Original Autodarts" switches everything back off. Your own presets come first in the quick row.

── EVERY COLOUR SEPARATELY ──
Background, surfaces, cards, body text, muted text, banner, accent, border and the two player colours. Text on accent surfaces is set light or dark automatically, whichever reads better.

── READABILITY BUILT IN ──
A contrast check recalculates five colour pairs live against WCAG and tells you whether they hold up – which matters when the screen is read from three metres away. Light or dark: the site is built for dark mode, and AutoStyler carries light themes through cleanly all the same.

── BACKGROUND AND FROSTED GLASS ──
Solid colour, gradient or your own image, with fit, position, darkening, blur and greyscale. Surfaces can be made transparent so the image shows through – header, cards, menus and page surface on separate sliders. A frosted-glass effect behind them keeps the text on top calm and readable.

── YOUR OWN LOGO ──
Replace the logo in the header with an image of your own, and place a watermark in any corner or in the middle. Made for club and company colours.

── OVER 30 TYPEFACES ──
From system fonts through Inter, Roboto and Montserrat to scoreboard faces like Oswald, Teko and Bebas Neue, and arcade faces like Orbitron, Russo One and Press Start 2P. Font size and zoom are separate: size changes the letters only, zoom scales the whole interface. Every typeface is matched to the site's own metrics so scores and names never get clipped.

── TIDYING UP ──
Hide the spectator and settings icons, or click any element away for good and bring it back individually. The header is protected and always stays visible, so navigation never gets lost.

── LOCK IT WITH A PIN ──
An optional PIN keeps the AutoStyler menu shut, and the whole Autodarts profile menu with it – settings, devices, account and, if installed, Tools for Autodarts. Once unlocked it stays open until you lock it by hand or close the tab. Made for the club machine that many hands walk past. To be honest: it is a latch against bystanders, not protection against someone who knows their way around a browser.

── YOUR OWN PRESETS ──
Save your settings under a name, background image, logo and the list of hidden elements included. Export and import set up a second machine in one step.

── ENGLISH AND GERMAN ──
The interface follows your browser, or whichever language you pick in the Info tab.

── HOW IT WORKS ──
The site describes its interface through CSS design tokens. AutoStyler overwrites those tokens instead of inverting the page with a filter. That is why the dartboard, player photos and colour coding keep their real colours, and fixed bars do not shift.

── PRIVACY ──
No data is collected, stored or transmitted. All settings and images stay local to your browser profile. Access is limited to play.autodarts.com. If you pick a Google font, your browser loads it from Google Fonts; choose a system font or "Original" to avoid that.

Shortcuts: Alt+Shift+A opens the menu, Alt+Shift+S switches the theme on and off.
