Blur Faces - Private Face Blur Tool by Image Resizer

Blur Faces is a private, local-first photo tool for hiding faces before sharing screenshots, team photos, event pictures, user interviews, research images, or social media content.

The extension opens a simple image studio inside Firefox. Choose or drop a JPG, PNG, or WebP image, run automatic face detection, then blur detected faces directly on the canvas. If detection misses a face or marks the wrong area, use the manual lasso tool to draw a custom face mask. You can also switch to full-photo blur when the entire image needs to be softened.

Everything runs locally in the browser extension. Your photos are not uploaded to a server, and the extension does not call remote APIs for image processing. When you are done, export the edited result as a PNG file.
