The chordFriends extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information on its own. Specifically:

We do not track your browsing activity.
We do not collect your name, email address, or location.
We do not use analytics or advertising trackers.
All chord and scale data is stored locally in your browser's chrome.storage.


Payments and Premium Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are processed through ExtensionPay and Stripe. When you subscribe, payment information (such as your email and billing details) is handled directly by Stripe. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Please review Stripe's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your data.
Local Storage

The extension uses chrome.storage.local to save your preferences (such as selected instrument and last viewed chord). This data never leaves your device.
Third-Party Services

The extension communicates with extensionpay.com solely to verify your subscription status. No other third-party services are contacted.
Children's Privacy

chordFriends is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
