I cannot find this option (or an option to see a list of dirty links at all) maybe because I do not have an entry for ClearURLs in the context menu, any possible reason for this ? Sometimes (but rarely) I have problems with GUI of addons because of my desktop resolution (my eyes are not the youngest anymore), the last thing I see at the bottom of the GUI is "Rule status up to date" (in German here), is this right ? Wondering why I do not have an entry in the context menu...
Edit: I just looked at pictures of the GUI at gitlab and there seems to be a section "Log" under "Rules" at the bottom indeed (which I cannot see) so my assumption was quite right (GUI just "too big" on my desktop), reduces the functionality of the addon unfortunately of course but no solution for this probably. But does this explain the missing entry in the context menu, too ?
Okay, I found the icon for cleaning links by adding them manually in a new window, is it possible to see a list of links blocked or cleaned by ClearURLs in the statistics or elsewhere on the other hand ?
Edit/reply to you answer: I cannot see the log button because of my desktop resolution but this is not very important.
Any idea why I do not get an entry in the context menu ? But I can live without this, too, addon seems to be very good anyway

Please have a look at our wiki: https://gitlab.com/KevinRoebert/ClearUrls/wikis/Interface/1.-Version-1.2.1.x
You have to activate the "Logging". Only then the "Log" button will appear in the UI.
Edit: If you can open the settings, replace the "settings.html" with "log.html" and you will be on the log page. But you must still activate the "Logging" function to see an entry.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Mythy, 3 days agoI've used this for a while. This is a warning, but this will mess up your Amazon! My Prime Video was not working and after going through my add-ons, this was the cause. It sucks, but I just need to warn other users who are having issues with their Amazon.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 14520466, 23 days agoCan't believe this is a recommended add-in. Causes major malfunctions on amazon.de: 1) Prevents seeing reviews when selecting 'more reviews' and then navigating to the second page, or using filters by star rating. 2) prevents opening of popups to add notes on items in a wish list.
This has been going on for a while and i had no idea what was causing amazon to malfunction, did some time-consuming testing disabling addons one by one, and there is no doubt it was this one to cause troubles. - Rated 3 out of 5by Leviii, 24 days agoGood addon but isn't updated frequently so bugs go without being addressed.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 12215118, a month agoHat für mich ohne spezielle Konfiguration gut funktioniert, nur der Preiswecker-Link von Idealo funktioniert aktuell (2025-11-11) mit ClearURLs nicht (Firefox zeigt einen Json-Fehler statt der Seite). Daher habe ich ClearURLs erst mal deaktiviert.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Saint.77, 2 months agoOne of the essentials if you dont want to be traced on internet if you share links, however it lacks one thing: it does not remove tracking from the "share" button on youtube. For that you need the tiny addon called "Youtube clean share" aswell, that tiny little addon together with this is the essentials that give you a complete package for safe private sharing of links if you for example use VPN and desire privacy when you share links like youtube videos that sneak in embedded tracking code.
- Rated 2 out of 5by PanzerIV88, 2 months agoIn theory it sounds pretty cool and it actually works at Amazon where it is the most needed for my needs... HOWEVER there is a MAJOR FLAW and it's that if enabled it completely BREAKS the search results from (Google IA) on Google.com so I must completely disable the addon since there is no "Exeption List" which is very dumb!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Lilith D. Bracken, 2 months agoReally handy privacy tool that cleans up all those long, messy URLs full of tracking stuff. It automatically removes unnecessary parameters so links stay clean and private. Everything works in the background, and pages still load normally. I like how simple it is; no setup needed, just install and forget about it. Perfect for anyone who wants a cleaner browsing experience and less tracking without any extra effort.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Maryth, 2 months agoWorks well for most URL trackers, like those in spotify and youtube links.
But we definitely need a one-time exception button. It breaks a lot of forwarding, for example when trying to log into Google Play Desktop app, it removes the ID used for the app login. I frequently need to disable this addon, which is very annoying and defeats the purpose - Rated 5 out of 5by Arman Daneshjoo, 2 months ago
