Coosti Price Checker does not collect, store, or share any personal data from users.
The extension only reads the current page URL to check if Coosti has better prices for the same product.

The extension does not collect:
names, emails, or contact information
IP addresses
browsing history
cookies or tracking identifiers
payment information
any personal or sensitive data

Click tracking:
When a user clicks on a merchant offer shown by the extension, the link passes through a Coosti redirect URL. This is only used to count how many times a specific product offer is clicked.
These click counts are aggregate and anonymous and are not linked to any individual user.
No personal information is collected during this process.

Permissions used:

activeTab: reads the current URL to check for price alternatives.
storage: temporarily caches API responses for a few minutes.
Host permission (coosti.dk): used only to request price comparison data from Coosti’s API.

Coosti Price Checker does not sell, share, or transfer any data to third parties and does not use analytics, tracking, advertising, or profiling.
