About this extension
CP Sync: Automate Your Competitive Programming Portfolio

CP Sync is a lightweight background extension that automatically detects your Accepted competitive programming solutions and pushes them directly to your GitHub repository. Stop manually copying and pasting your code, let CP Sync build your portfolio while you focus on solving problems.
  • Codeforces
  • CodeChef
  • LeetCode & NeetCode
  • HackerRank
  • vJudge
  • AtCoder
  • GeeksforGeeks
  • CSES
  • Organized Repository Structure: Automatically categorizes your submissions by platform, difficulty/rating, and contest (e.g., codeforces/1500-1599/1873A.cpp).
  • Manual Push & Autofill: Missed a submission or using a custom judge? Use the Manual Push tab. The built-in "Autofill" feature instantly grabs the problem name, ID, and link directly from your active tab.
  • Duplicate Detection: Prevents clutter by hashing your code (SHA-256) and skipping identical solutions that are already committed to your repository.
  • History & Automatic Retries: View a complete log of your pushes. If you hit a GitHub rate limit or experience a network drop, CP Sync queues the submission and retries later with exponential backoff.
  • Live Stats & Streaks: Track your daily coding streak and total synced problems right from the extension popup.
  • Customizable Commits: Tailor your commit messages using dynamic placeholders like {problem}, {platform}, {rating}, and {language}.
  • Persistent UI Tab: Pop the extension out into a full browser tab so it stays open while you switch windows to copy code or read problem statements.
  • Failsafe Drafts: Every field in the Manual Push tab autosaves on every keystroke, ensuring you never lose your drafted submission if the popup closes.
  1. Create a GitHub Token: Generate a fine-grained Personal Access Token on GitHub with Contents: Read and write permissions, scoped strictly to your target repository.
  2. Configure CP Sync: Open the extension, paste your token, and enter your GitHub username and repository name.
  3. Start Coding: Solve problems normally! The extension will intercept Accepted verdicts, push the code in the background, and give you a small desktop notification upon success.

CP Sync operates entirely between your local browser and your personal GitHub account. Your GitHub Personal Access Token is saved securely to your browser's local storage and is strictly used to authenticate API calls to push your code. If you export your extension settings for a backup, your token is deliberately excluded to prevent accidental leaks.
