About this extension

DeepFlow Translator lets you translate web pages, selected text, and documents using the DeepL API, while showing you how many characters you will use before translating.

Features

Translate selected text or entire web pages via a simple toolbar popup.
Translate documents through a dedicated document center with drag-and-drop support.
See a live character count before sending text to DeepL, so you can manage your API usage.
Support for both DeepL free and DeepL Pro API endpoints (user provides their own API key).
Remember your preferred source and target languages and other settings.

How it works

Open the extension’s options page and enter your DeepL API key.
Visit any web page and click the DeepFlow Translator toolbar button.
Choose source and target languages and click Translate.
For documents, open the document center, drop a file, and translate it via DeepL.

Data & privacy

Page text and document contents are sent only to DeepL’s API for translation when you request it.
Your DeepL API key and preferences are stored locally in the browser’s extension storage.
The extension does not include analytics or tracking, and it does not sell or share your data.
