- Rated 1 out of 5by Yeko, a year agoI know that this add-on has been rendered useless by the fakes at Mozilla who claim that they are out there to make a better Internet but in reality serve the Big Ad and fight an all-out war against all of us, but still Nils simply gave up and decided to go with the flow and make this add-on useless.
Yes, after more than a decade of using this to download tens of 1000s of files, in a restartable, multi-stream manner, with hash checking, to the destination folder of my choice, this new DTA has become useless crap. I am still keeping an instance of PaleMoon with the old DTA, to do the same thing that I used to, and this new version is only good for a trash can.
Multi-stream missing - check.
Hash function missing - check.
Destination is only the Downloads folder - check.
To sum it up: useless. - Rated 5 out of 5by NADIM, a year ago
- Rated 2 out of 5by Wes, a year agoThe extension is easy to add and use. However, all the URL of the files still point to the online source. So if I download a page that has a link in the same URL folder and it is downloaded also, the first page URL does not point to the second dowloaded file. Very frustrating. I will have to write a script that modifies all the links.
