by Firefox user 14684230, 7 years agoEasy Youtube Downloader has been a highly consistent performer for me in season and out. No games. If there are issues with downloading, you get an immediate explanation. It will always be my go_to solution for video downloading.
That said, there is a slight performance issue. It is not able to do the conversion from mp4 to mp3. If that issue gets the attention from this review and is corrected then I can resume a five star rating for the app. In addition it is not able to download in mp3 format

The dev is doing a great job keeping it up to date, not an easy task, considering that the platform keeps releasing changes to make downloads more difficult. I am happy to support this project and make several donations over the years, because I can see the continuous committment to keep this alive and working (very often not the case with other add-ons). Donations also give you the chance to dpwnload the desktop app, which does everything you can do in the browser, plus more. Based on what I experienced so far, the app is stable and works very well.
