I've tried so many video download add-ons and this is the one i've been the most consistently happy with. The devs for add-ons like these understandably have to play tag with YT all the time, but this developer is one of the faster & more dedicated ones from what I've seen. I'm big into media preservation, but it's a headache chasing add-ons that work so I'm really grateful this one has been so consistent. YT has once again changed how they work so the add-on isn't working at this exact moment, but unlike with a lot of others, I have faith that this add-on will be updated soon, the dev seems really dedicated. I rarely have any problems with this one.

Also I really appreciate how clear the list of formats & file sizes is when I use the pull down menu, and it's not cluttered up with too many no-audio or audio-only options.

While the 1080p does not show at this time, I am hopeful it will be fixed soon. I have donated $30 to downloader as over the years I have gotten lots of very quality use. I recommend this app to anyone.

This Youtube downloader has been working well for the most part, and it must be understood that youtube will try to block downloads, but I trust the creator will overcome that soon.

Superb YouTube video downloader, very reliable, I've been using it for years.

Only reliable youtube downloader which works easily. Every now and then youtube tires to stop it but they always come though. Cat & Mouse Deal.

I have a lot of respect for Dishita, the creator of this add-on. Having to play the constant cat and mouse game with the YouTube programmers. If YouTube truly believed in Fair Use and Creative Commons, they would allow the downloading of videos. But evidently they don't. Dishita deserves nothing less than a 5 star rating. If not merely for his add-on, then for his persistency in chasing down the changes in YouTube code every few months.

Excellent add-on that does what is advertised. Very satisfied with how quickly Dishita updates to stay on top of YT changes.

It doesn't work. It says "Generating link pls wait" forever.

Excellent add-on. Sometimes has to be updated by the developer as Google tries to thwart it, so occasionally one may have to be a little patient.

Very good extension. I've used it for years without issue. The author goes to a lot of trouble to keep it up-to-date. I am also a paid subscriber, so I have put my money where my mouth is.

Amazing add on and so incredibly important to the art of video communication. People should be able to accces the videos natively but the effort and the intention of this add-on is a positive for young artists, videographers, teachers and media professionals.

The best downloader I've used. Over the years I tried so many but found this one to be the best and the most simple to use. The creator is always on the ball doing their best to keep up with all the restrictions YouTube puts in their way. I hesitated paying for the full version for a long time but since I did I have no regrets. I love love love it!
