I actually paid for this extension a while back because I loved it so much. It went through a phase where it didn't work with youtube videos, but respect to the author of the plugin, he made it work through the horrid new youtube changes. A recommended plugin, highly recommended, and worth making a one time payment for to support the author.

Can sometimes be clunky but i can't see how i'd manage my day to day life without this wonderful companion. I can't hve enough of this recently updated youtube downloader. :O

A superb downloader in what is a hostile environment for such things. The author is very responsive and diligent about keeping the thing up-to-date as far as humanly possible.

In the ongoing battle between YouTube wanting as much money as they can squeeze from viewers and people who want to save what they can watch for free anyway, this is an example of why YT should quit wasting time trying to stop it. This works, it does it locally, and it's proof there will be someone who will crack every protection YT wastes their time on.
