YouTube is a mess... People telling it's fault of this extension doesn't know the real truth. Try downloading anything from YouTube with different tools and you may find most of them doesn't work, too. Instead of publishing harassment arguments against their developers, think twice before saying anything.

Haven't you read the latest warning from Easy YouTube Video Downloader website from their support section? Read it again:

" I'm aware that the web extension is producing 0-byte downloads or files that won't open. This is because YouTube has again changed codes that breaks downloads.

I've worked around the new restrictions and fixed the issue caused by YouTube's latest code changes. Version 24 (v24) has been submitted to Mozilla for approval. Until then, please use the temporary fix below to get downloads working again.

Fingers crossed that YT doesn't mess this one up as well.


It no longer works. It CLAIMS to work, even opens up two save windows, but the files are always 0 bytes.

Works pretty reliably

I love this downloader. It's excellent. But lately, it won't download certain videos. It say it does, but it's not downloaded on your computer and you can't open with media player.

For me it works better in Windows 10 than in 7. The problem is more on my end with variables like using an outdated browser, background processes using resources or traffic on a VPN that interrupts the download or conversion process on my Win 7 machine. If I switch to another browser that uses the extension to start a failed download over again it wants to start where I left off in the first browser, that happens to me in Win 7 if it weren't for that I'd give it 5 stars.
Update: It quit working. It went through the process of (step one) downloading but quit there and didn't go through the conversion process and give me the finished file. The only thing showing downloaded was an empty mp4 file.

良かった（しっかりダウンロードできる）。今のところダウンロード制限がない（使ってからまだ1日くらいしかたってないけど笑）。ただダウンロードすると謎の表示が出る（英語で）。それだけが欠点。

Very good. Only complaint is that the Download Speed is a bit too slow. If it Downloaded Files Faster, this would be a 5 STAR ADD-ON easily.
