An automatic update today, rendered my down loader useless. I've enjoyed it for a long time. What can I do? Do I have to pay more money?

This addon will pop up a new tab every couple of days while your trying to beg you for money, there is no way to stop firefox launching and going to this new tab, I've had virus's which were less invasive. Avoid.
