I've been using this add on without a glitch for a while now. Developer is very good at updating quickly when YouTube or FireFox upgrades break something.

Obviously, you need at least 3 different video downloaders in order to keep up with Youtube's constant changes, and this is one of my choices. It works as well as my other selections.

Works well, but if you want the upgraded PRO version that allows you to download high res 1080 videos, be careful how you go about it - I haven't been able to get PRO to work.

I really like this video downloader. Due to the lousy internet bandwidth I have, I'm unable to view videos, so I must download them first - unless I want to view a 5 minute video start and stop repeatedly for 20 minutes. This app fits the bill by enabling me to download them to view later on - then I toss those I don't wish to keep.

By far the best YouTube Download add-on I evaluated. I recommend this to all of my loved ones. Please support this author. A donation is a small price to pay considering how much of our time is spared and so much of their time is spent. This author has consistently kept up to YouTube changes for years, each time sparing hours of my life from searching and re-evaluating because other add-on's are time-consuming thinking they will work and do not, or are just not as nicely designed. To the author: PLEASE do not get discouraged and keep up the great work. I don't write reviews but I was motivated for this one.

As with many others, I find myself cycling through two or three extensions of this sort, depending on how often YT's tweaks break things, and who updates when. This one is a reliable favorite, and one I will always come back to. In the mid-2020 YT update, it never completely stopped working, but even the gaps it had are now fixed, whereas the other extension I was using to cover the spots this one missed earlier in the year has now ceased working altogether. Amazing work, for a "one man" operation! 2024 was a bad year, but I'm back now!
