posted 2 months agoWe hear you and we're sorry it caused so much frustration. It was broken by a YouTube algorithm change — completely unintended. We've just shipped v24.1 which fixes it. Please give it one more try before writing us off entirely. Your updated review would really help. Developer response

posted 2 months agoIt's working again! :) v24.1 is out and fixes the issue caused by a YouTube algorithm change. Update and you're good to go — and if it works, please do update that review!- Rated 1 out of 5by one_two_bike, 3 months agoI wanted to download an video, the folder shows a file but size 0kb, so no success. I had the same experience fpr this particular video using tubemate on android. Other videos were fine on both systems. It seems youtube can block certain video contend from downloading.
Developer response
posted 2 months agoHi! The 0kb issue was actually a widespread bug from a YouTube algorithm change — not video-specific. It's now fixed in v24.1, so most videos should download fine after updating. Give it a try and let us know! Developer response

posted 2 months agoThe empty files issue is now history — v24.1 is out and fixes it. It was a YouTube algorithm change that caused the problem. Please update and you should be downloading properly again. An updated review would be much appreciated!- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19737967, 3 months agoI tried several times, and while a shell would download, it was empty of data. Very disappointing.
Developer response
posted 2 months agoReally sorry about the disappointment. The empty shell was a bug triggered by a YouTube algorithm change. We've just released v24.1 which properly fixes it. Please try updating — we'd love to turn this around for you. - Rated 1 out of 5by zzz, 3 months agoThis extension fails at every single download - it just makes a file with 0 bytes. It also fails to recognize that and then asks the user to rate it. It's bizarre.
Developer response
posted 2 months agoHi zzz! Totally understandable frustration. The false "success" notification + 0 bytes was a bug caused by a YouTube algorithm change. Fixed in v24.1 now — please update and it should actually download this time. Bizarre problem, proper fix! - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13119925, 3 months ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by lifeisalemon, 3 months agoPaid for this quite a while ago, stopped working, dunno when. Now it only creates 0KB files. Worthless now. Do not donate!
Thanks for the response, but still getting 0Kb files.Developer response
