I'm not a techie user, I stick with std settings mostly and the addon does exactly what i need it to do, download YouTube vids in HD. Excellent app.

Love this add-on. Quick and easy and great for saving videos for my ESL classes.

Good extension and updated frequently. I've been using it for years.

Not a bad little addon

Quick and easy. My favorite downloader. Well it seems the pro access is revoked without rhyme or reason and you are unable to download until you pay up again. Might be a month, might be a year, but you will have your purchase deemed no longer valid because the creator wants more money. Its one thing to ask for a donation but when you sell a service, even if you did a piss poor job of planning expenses, it is unethical and no different than stealing to restrict a paid account and demand more money. the 1080 had sound issues most of the time anyway. Going to use a website or other addon for my download needs. I don't support crooks.

Really great addon i have used for many years with never an issue featuring regular updates which considering this is all the work of one man I honestly wish i could pay him anything. However as my internet has just been reconnected after inability to pay my bill which is a regular occurence i cannot which pains me. SO the least i can do is give him a 100% review. NEVER a fault or problem in over 7 years of use!!!!

I was skeptical when I pay for a premium version. Now it's likely one of my wisest investment in terms of getting a download helper. A must have for fans.

Excellent workaround for Google's stranglehold on YouTube video downloading. Free version allows for decent to mediocre downloads, with the possibility of higher quality downloads provided a pro user has downloaded the video recently. Pro version (price dictated by personal honesty) allows for downloads of excellent quality at exceptional speeds. This is a MUST HAVE app if you want to download YouTube videos without paying ridiculous subscription rates and/or don't want YouTube (aka, Google) watching your every move. The best part? With this add-on, you don't even need to log in to YouTube in order to download.
FOR MOBILE USERS: to use the add-on in the mobile Firefox browser, you need to request YouTube's (NOT FIREFOX'S) desktop site. It's located amongst the options found above the video window
