I do not often donate to things unless I find them especially useful or helpful. I have donated to Wikipedia and a couple of charities that deal with tech. I have been used the Video Downloader Express for a while now. And honestly, it has been a very helpful tool when I have needed to do favors for a friend or extra things for work. I cannot add software to my work system, but my requirements sometimes mean I need a program like this to get the work done. So, I am personally glad that someone out there with a passion for doing something they love built this. I sure as heck would not have had the skill or motivation to do it. So, thanks to you creator. Easy to Use

"WORKS WITH NEW YOUTUBE" is good enough.

Just the fact there's a pro version I won't use it.

The best Youtube downloader there is, I can highly recommend upgrading to the Pro version, it's all worth it !!! This guy works his butt off with regular updates, while Youtube keep making new obstacles. Support him and get the Pro version :)

Needs an auto/original file name saver. When saving it all file names are videoplayback.(type)

I have donated twice to get Pro status so I can download YouTube videos as mp3 audio files. Twice now I have suddenly lost this status and for a second time, I can't download videos as mp3 files.

Apparently, this was due to me uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox after it crashed. It seems that this extension depends upon the user not deleting cookies, whether on purpose or by accident. I won't donate again because I do occasionally clean out browser cookies.

Other than the undependability of the Pro status, it does a good job downloading video file formats.

It continues to work competently even after Firefox switched to Google - like browser. Highly recommended

I am happy with the upgrade to PRO which allows me to download Videos in 1080p and music in MP3 256kbps resolution fro youtube.
It makes a big quality difference.
Now I can just download my favorites for offline use.

I had issues to begin with.
The support team was very responsive and helped me resolve it in less than a day. They did this on a festive Sunday and that is just great.

I recommend this app to all who use youtube to upgrade to PRO. Its more than worth it.
Will recommend it to my friends also!

This is the current best YouTube downloader. Before I was manually merging videos and soundtracks on KeepVid. This has made YouTube downloading much less of a hassle.
