Really good addon that works fast without complications.

This is the best Youtube video downloader I've tried, and over the years I have used a lot of them. Two very important things I love about this plugin are that they keep it updated, and fix bugs. There will always be bugs or things breaking in software, especially when it works with a 3rd party service as in this case. But so far they have released updates to fix any issues. Another feature I love is the option to download as mp3. There are so many videos that really add no value visually, and could just as well have been made as mp3s. So why download a huge video file when you can just download an mp3? This add-on makes it easy to do just that.

There is a lot of software that is advertised as 'easy'. This one truly delivers on that. I can't imagine how they could make it any easier. It's so good that I have donated to support them, and I will do so again as well to give them some support for making such a great add-on and keeping it updated, fixing bugs, etc.

UPDATE: 2 years later and this is still my favorite and most used add-on. Thank you to the developer for all the hard work that goes into upgrading this every time youtube changes and breaks something!

This is not only a great extension and well maintained, but it is also an important extension. As fickle as YouTube is about removing videos that it doesn't like, it is great to be able to download those important videos that we depend on and save them to our own computers. It is important, though, that, as long as a video is available, we support the creator by using the online video whenever possible.

And please support the creator of this extension, too, by making a small donation when you can.

Downloading of Videos and Audio is so easy & quick
but I often maybe use it too much.

Nice features such as video-audio selections are very useful.

I do not know how Dishita does it, but her skills and expertise constantly SHINES!

I had not donated since 2018. I could not get PRO version 16.5 to work. So, I decided to try the money route. SUCCESS! I know it is getting harder to satisfy YouTube, but Dishita just keeps being the shining light. I hope she is able to continue this service for the foreseeable future. I will ensure more frequent money infusions to keep Dishita's service flying high.

FIRST, Dishita should get tech support of the year! Quick response - 3 times - within 12 hours. I was given no nonsense advice and how to fix my connection/download problem. I see that some users expect miracles, even though their own security/blockers stop this Add-on. User error, NOT Add-on error!!!!
SECOND, the Add-on works quickly and without errors.
LAST: I am one extremely happy and heavy user of this Add-on. A big thanks to Dishita for providing this usable product.

I enjoy using this program. It just keeps getting better. Thanks for the hard work.

It sort of works. But like most other video downloads, it appears to provide 1080p downloads, while it just doesn't bloody work. Some downloaders redirect to some BS message saying it's not possible (which is BS, because it *is* technically achievable), but this one does something else. This downloader, when selecting 1080p, pings videodroid.org and then absolutely bloody nothing else happens.

If you can't make downloading 1080p happen, DO NOT PROVIDE IT AS AN OPTION.

This handy plug-in just works. No hassle. No complications. I found it in a google search. Easy install and it gives you a big green button under the YouTube video that says "Download As..."
