I very much appreciate your efforts. Is there a way to download only the English version of a particular You-Tube video? The download button (on my computer, at least) can present a dozen options for the same video - without any indication of the language spoken. Any help would be appreciated.

It gets slightly broken if you're going through a playlist on the site. Starts showing phantom buttons duplicating horizontally from left to right as you go through the playlist. One must simply refresh the page to remedy this issue, but still something to work on.

At first, it worked fine. But then a problem appeared where YouTube would freeze completely and only by closing the tab it would be fixed. It took me a while to connect the dots and at first I tried disabling the add-on and try watching a YouTube video again and voila! YouTube no longer freezes, period. I am gonna look for something else. Hope this review helps someone who has the same problem.

It does not work to download mp3 even with PRO version. The external application does not work neither.

The goated Youtube video downloader. This developer is in a David and Goliath battle to keep this service functional for over a decade. Works really well - please donate if you can! We can't lose this infrastructure. Archiving videos is so important in this time in history.

It works but my only issue is that there is nothing to indicate that it is downloading.
At least on my end. So I press the "button" and eventually it shows it downloaded.

This is one of those extensions you forget you ever installed, just up to the moment when you need it. Sure, downloading videos is a game of cat and mouse, so it might not work every time, but most of the time it really works—and the author has been maintaining this extension for years on end in their own free time.

It worked perfectly the first time I tried it, then it affected everything I did in Firefox and the whole browser experience changed. Even when I uninstalled it, this extension was still somehow sending notifications. I'd recommend avoiding it.
