For me Easy Youtube is the best and most straightforward video download app I have used. I stopped using Video DownloadHelper after it stopped downloading anything at 720 or above. It used to be a very good app but then it changed. Now, often when you click on a 720 resolution download it would tell you that you need another tool to convert it and wants you to use/buy that. Easy Youtube... doesn't do any of that bs. It shows you what it can get for you and does it. Period.

Everything simple and smooth.
You must do a little donation, but I think it's honest for what you obtain.
Good mail support.
Just one thing: a little more info about the way each format is downloaded and saved would be of help.
Anyway, it's a very good add-on for Firefox.

After making a donation the addon is working better than I dared to hope. Til today I only used it for MP3 HQ downloads which finished really fast. The only thing to critize is that the fact I have donated is stored in a cookie, so you have to refresh it each time after deleting cookies with CCleaner or similar programs. Maybe there could be a similar solution to store the information, like StartPage can do with my personal preferences. Nevertheless thanks for a nearly perfect addon!

You need to be Pro-user to download 1080p or mp3.

Does not work on youtube. Just puts an empty file on the drive not downloading anything.

Why is this extension recommended if it doesnt work at all? why everytime the same? why there are people giving it even 5 stars? why are people so stupid? i dont get it.

Does exactly what it says, and does it far quicker and more easily than the other video downloader addons ive tried. I don't need 1080p, but if i do in the future, i'll have no problem paying a little for it.

I've used Easy YouTube Video Downloader for a long time and have been very satisfied with it. I just got the Pro version because I wanted to have higher quality for a very special video project I was doing.

Started to add it to FF, and a message popped up "Requires permission to:
*access data for all web sites, and
*download files and read and modify the browser's download history"
So, I discontinued the add on, I am not allowing this

Wrong that you can download on 1080p

Just what I was looking for to export YouTube videos and audio files. I would recommend the Pro Version which is so easy to use with just a small donation.

Not free for HD content anymore so I'll have to find another add-on.
