- Rated 5 out of 5by NelsTandberg, 6 months agoI waited until gaining 5 weks of experience with the addon. Probably three max uses per day as I try not to patronize YouTube.
Simplicity is good. I'm puzzled at discrepancies in file download file sizes vs projected sizes. Its convenience and apparent speed let me choose a format, start the download, and do something else with my time.
I'm planning to continue its use and will probably upgrade after I install Starlink. Customary download speeds now limited to around 700kB. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14922913, 6 months agoIt didn't work for me for a long time, but lately it's been working wonderfully! I recommend it to everyone.

- Rated 5 out of 5by EnergyGuru, 6 months agoTools like this are indispensable for so many of us. I need to be able to play and pause videos in my profession and this is only possible by having the actual video file on my device.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Axolotl, 6 months agoAs I clicked on one video, it seemed fine, it worked as normal, just one button that let me download the video, amazing, but a slight glimmer caught my eye, a shining video in the sea of terrible ones, I clicked on it, naturally, but then I noticed something strange. There was another download button, I thought nothing of it, only a one time bug, probably, but no, as I clicked on more videos, more buttons popped up, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 once I got to 7, all hell broke loose, my cpu usage shot up to 100% I could hear my pc at the gates of hell fighting Satan himself, but it wasnt over, I opened more, determined to take this as far as possible. 8, 9, and finally 10, after this much, my computer gave in as satan called for backups, and it was surrounded by the cursed forced to forever roam the underworld. It had lost the battle, gave up, and closed firefox. May that innocent instance of Firefox roam Valhalla forever. RIP.

posted 2 months agoHi Axolotl! The "gates of hell" CPU saga is quite the visual 😄 That multiple buttons + memory leak bug was real and we're sorry it put your PC through the wringer. Version 24.1 fixes this — just one button, no CPU chaos. Update and give it a try. If it's back to normal, we'd love an updated review! 🙏 - Rated 5 out of 5by Loopsicle, 6 months agoAlways works hard to roll with youtube's punches, and comes up with a solution for roadblocks as fast as possible.
