Browser_action addon with data/ and charts/ subdirectories. Background monitor tracks open tab count and calculates estimated energy usage and CO2 footprint. Uses IndexedDB via data/etc-store.js for historical data and data/etc-stats.js for comparison logic. The popup in charts/ displays real-time stats with fun environmental facts.
