Possible improvement to consider would be cursor key navigation, to allow rapidly moving to the correct emoji (whereas, currently, it seems either the mouse is needed or tabbing forward/backward is needed, which can be time consuming).

Edit → I don't currently use Telegram, and I guess you may not see this adjustment to the review, but to clarify the above a little: I like to use the keyboard more and the mouse less. It would be great if I could open the emoji picker, type in whatever I'm looking for and then use the up/down/left/right keys to navigate to the one I want; hit enter and continue.

EDIT: It's kinda perfect now. You press the shortcut, start typing, double tap enter (or tap once, then tab to select emoji, then enter again), and you've got the emoji in your clipboard. 5/5 stars, IMHO.

Works okay but isn't keyboard users oriented. The number of possible shortcuts is limited, you can set it e.g. to ctrl+shift and any letter or any digit but you cannot set it to something like ctrl+shift and a period or space or comma. After typing in your search phrase there's no option to copy the first one after pressing enter - you have to press enter twice because it assumes the users will more often use the arrow keys or mouse to select exact emoji from the grid than improve their search phrase. Those are minor issues but still, issues.
