About this extension
This extension is a minimal, example Firefox add-on prepared for submission to AMO. The first 250 characters summarize the most important points: It is self-contained, uses no remote scripts, avoids inline JavaScript, and requests only storage and activeTab permissions so it can run a single content script on demand. The add-on includes a popup UI, a safe options page, a background script, and a content script that demonstrates safe DOM updates using textContent and element creation, not innerHTML. The code follows the standard extension Content Security Policy and bundles all resources inside the package. The included icons are 48px and 128px PNG files.
