by UnelmaS.com, a day agoJust installed FeelCalc a couple of hours ago and I’m genuinely surprised how useful (and slightly uncomfortable) it is.
There’s this floating circle in the corner that shows your real-time “Feel Score”. I was casually scrolling Reddit and Twitter this morning and watched it climb from green 35 all the way into orange 78. The color change is subtle but effective — it actually made me pause and think “okay maybe I should close this tab”.
The 30-second box breathing prompt when it gets high is surprisingly well-timed and not annoying. I actually did the exercise once and felt better. The grayscale mode is clever too — it instantly kills the urge to keep doomscrolling.
Everything runs locally (no data leaves your browser), which was a big reason I was willing to try it. No accounts, no telemetry, privacy-first — exactly how extensions should be.
It’s still version 1.0 so it’s early days, but already one of the most interesting extensions I’ve installed in a while. If you spend too much time online and sometimes feel drained or anxious afterwards, give this a shot. It might make you more aware of your habits.
Highly recommended.
