FingerRead — scroll-driven finger tracking by Sam Huang

FingerRead brings finger tracking to the browser: select a passage, turn the scroll wheel, and a highlight moves through the text. Scroll quickly and it skips ahead; scroll slowly and it advances one character at a time. It pauses briefly at sentence ends so you never lose your place.

Unlike text-to-speech, there is no preset reading speed — your hand sets the pace.

Highlights

· Drops the session when the text changes underneath you, so no stale highlight is left behind
· Privacy first: highlighting happens inside the page. The text you read is never uploaded; the server only stores your email and membership state

FingerRead 把「指读」搬到浏览器里：选中一段文字，滚动滚轮，高亮就沿着文字推进。
