mise à jour 12.05.21 { Détecté comme client torrent ?!! Mon Norton360 Deluxe me déconnecte du VPN, obligé de fermé l'appli pour surfer en sécurité ! Note revue à la baisse de mon point de vue }
mise à jour 09.05.21 { Ok, il fallait installé l'appli sous Windows, téléchargeable sur le site officiel !!! rrr! Je n'ai plus "Loading" dans l'extension. La note en Anglais n'est pas mise en évidence... Shame on you ! Concernant la récupération de votre ancienne base (sur autre disque) : Installer FDM sur le nouveau PC, fermez le (icone barre des tâches), renommer db.sqlite dans C:\Users\NOMDEVOTREPROFIL\AppData\Local\Softdeluxe\Free Download Manager (vous pouvez taper %AppData% dans l'explorateur de fichier et descendre dans le dossier local, puis softdeluxe, puis free download manager. Ensuite récupérer sur l'ancien disque (même chemin) le fichier db.sqlite en le copiant. Voilà note revue à la hausse. }
Bloque sur "Loading..." !

update 05.12.21 {Detected as torrent client? !! My Norton360 Deluxe disconnects me from the VPN, I have to close the app to surf safely! Rating revised downwards on my opinion }
update 05.09.21 { Ok, the app had to be installed on Windows, downloadable from the official website !!! rrr! I no longer have "Loading" in the extension. The note in English is not highlighted ... Shame on you! Concerning the recovery of your old database (on another disk): Install FDM on the new PC, close it (taskbar icon), rename db.sqlite in C:\Users\NAMEOFYOURPROFIL\AppData\Local\Softdeluxe\Free Download Manager (you can type %AppData% in the file explorer and go down to the local folder, then softdeluxe, then free download manager. Then recover on the old disk (same path) the db.sqlite file by copying it. revised upwards. }
Stuck on "Loading ..."! Win10 Pro + Win Firewall + Norton360 Deluxe + VPN on FF 88.0.1 (64bits). I only have Enhancer for Youtube installed as an extension. Installation of FDM on new Windows then before restarting FF, and even after, the message "Loading" when I click the FDM icon. Uninstalling then reinstalling FDM, same problem and this even when trying to do it by launching FF with administrator mode, or by temporarily disabling the anti-virus! Same problem with Chrome Version 90.0.4430.93 !!! And how to recover old list of files on previous version of windows on failed disk (Win8.1) !? Disappointed! Too many permissions for this little software! There is abuse.

posted 10 days agoHello! For the FDM browser addon to function correctly, it is required to install the Free Download Manager software. You can obtain the most recent version on the official site. If you encounter any other issues, please feel free to contact our support team through this form: https://www.freedownloadmanager.org/support.htm. - Rated 5 out of 5by Arman Daneshjoo, 21 days ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14172993, a month agoWell I was also a bit annoyed by the consent and immidiatly install, but then I've read the comments here. And you can definitly improve your wording in the addon. If you had written hey its because mozilla has introduced that new policy I would have understood it immidiatly, but like its now I was not sure why you need to do that.
Lets see how good the extension is :D - Rated 5 out of 5by たやまみ, a month ago

posted 2 months agoGreetings! We would like to state once more that the FDM extension only transmits the necessary data to launch downloads in the FDM client. The anonymous data usage alert was implemented purely to meet Mozilla's stipulations. If you find this unacceptable, you can always choose not to install the extension. We appreciate your understanding and hope you’ll consider this before leaving a lower rating. Thank you. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13040629, 2 months agoForces you to opt into their "anonymous" data collection and if you decline, it uninstalls itself. Utter bullshit, if you ask me. Pay for IDM or Jdownloader with the adfree installer instead and look up how to disable the ads in it after.

posted 2 months agoHello! We are very sorry that the consent screen about data transfer have caused so many negative emotions among our users. However, as we've already explained, the FDM extension needs to transfer downloads to the FDM application in order to work. Without this transfer, the extension simply can’t function. Due to the latest Mozilla’s guidelines, this process now requires users to explicitly consent to the data transfer. If you find this requirement unacceptable, you can always uninstall the extension. We appreciate your understanding and hope you will consider this before leaving a lower rating. Thank you. - Rated 5 out of 5by Arman Async, 3 months ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18747101, 3 months agoDeclining the data collection = plugin gets uninstalled... Way to force people to agree to be able to continue to use your "product".. yeah I've read your explanation as to "why" but that doesn't justify it imo.. just point people to a github and let them install from a file instead, and tell mozilla to go suck it

posted 3 months agoHello! We’re sorry for the inconvenience caused by the new data‑transfer consent prompt. Per Mozilla’s latest guidelines, extensions must now request your explicit permission before passing download information to the FDM application, which is why you’re seeing this screen. We understand extra prompts can be frustrating. Thank you for your understanding, and please let us know how we can make this smoother for you. Developer response

- Rated 5 out of 5by MammadPRH, 3 months agoRight know as I'm typing this, the extension and the application work perfect, great new design, useful features, no cpu problems, no capture problems or anything else. I have no idea what some people talk about in the reviews, if you installed it and you have issues with the app or extension, it's most likely from your side, I'm completely okay with it, so if anyone looks for a more humane like review with details and not like bots, here's mine.
also don't just act like bots and write a straight up bad review, they have a great support, don't be lazy and reach to them. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18904684, 3 months ago
