About this extension
Tired of your YouTube feed?

FreshFeed gives you back control. With one click, it hides YouTube's algorithmic home page and replaces it with a feed built from topics YOU pick — fetched without your watch history influencing what you see.

WHAT IT DOES
  • Hides your personalized YouTube home, "Watch it again," "Mixes for you," and the algorithmic recommendation grid
  • Onboarding lets you pick 5+ topics from 50 categories — Cooking, History, Comedy, Music, Science, Tech, Gaming, Sports, and more
  • Builds you a multi-row feed of videos in those topics, fetched without your YouTube cookies
  • Infinite scroll — videos keep loading as you go
  • Filter by upload date: Today, This week, This month, This year, or All time
  • Edit your topics any time from the toolbar icon
  • Slim banner at the top of YouTube so you always know Fresh Mode is on
  • Toggle off any time — your normal YouTube returns instantly. Nothing is deleted.

HOW IT WORKS
  1. Click the FreshFeed icon in your browser toolbar.
  2. Toggle "Fresh Mode" on.
  3. Visit youtube.com. The first time, you'll be asked to pick 5+ topics.
  4. Your custom Fresh Feed loads — rows of videos from your topics.

When you want your normal feed back, click the icon and toggle off. That's it.

PRIVACY

We don't collect data. We don't track. We don't run analytics. Everything happens locally in your browser. The only thing FreshFeed stores is your toggle state, your selected topics, and your date-filter choice — all in your browser's local storage. None of it ever leaves your device.

When fetching videos for your topics, requests are sent to YouTube WITHOUT your login cookies, so what comes back isn't influenced by your watch history.

This extension is free and built by one person who got tired of their own YouTube feed.
