About this extension

G.A.I.N helps organizations apply their AI-use policies on supported websites, including ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini.

The extension checks accessible text and supported file content locally for configured patterns such as credentials, personal data, confidentiality markers and company-defined terms. Depending on the policy and supported workflow, it can block, redact, warn or record an event. A warning permits explicit continuation.

G.A.I.N sends event metadata to the connected organization dashboard. It does not include prompt bodies, file bodies or matched secret values in those event records. Content you choose to send may still reach the AI provider.

An organization account and enrollment key from CyberWardion are required. Coverage depends on enabled policies, supported formats and the active browser integration. Encrypted files, image-only content and unsupported workflows are not universally inspected.

Version 0.5.52 fixes warning acknowledgements after edits, retains valid cached policies during synchronization failures, and improves detection and file-handling reliability.
