Gmail Quote Collapser processes Gmail message content locally in the user's browser for the sole purpose of identifying and collapsing quoted email history according to rules configured by the user.

The extension does not delete emails, modify Gmail messages, sell user data, use user data for advertising, or transmit Gmail message content to any developer-operated server.

The extension stores user-created rules and settings using Firefox extension storage. When Firefox Sync is enabled by the user, those rules and settings may be synchronized between the user's Firefox devices through Mozilla's Firefox Sync service.

User-created rules may contain text entered or copied by the user, including names, email addresses, or portions of email text. This information is used only to perform the extension's requested functionality and is not collected by or transmitted to the developer.
