Does what it says...Was getting the pop-up, warning youtube violation of blah, blah, blah...Not anymore. Very cool, to find an extension, app, anything, really, nowadays, that just works....and, this does.

Great add-on. Great UI and ease of use. Only little problem I have is that it doesn't have a default 1440p setting for videos on youtube. Setting it to 4K is too laggy and I have a 2k monitor so don't want to just default it to 1080p.
Edit: Thanks for responding and that you're including the 2k setting soon. Outstanding.

GoodTube is a genuinely worthwhile add-on to have. It's quick and easy to manage, and it does a great job dealing with the mess that is YouTube's restless ad system. Also the price is also incredibly affordable and the dev is very understanding for those who can't pay. It's a good deal!

It has a great UI, and it has worked more reliably where other less-maintained extensions glitch out. And $2? Cmon, it is worth the time youll spend fixing other extensions later on, just get the man a coffee and never have to worry about ads again. It also has nice features like blocking shorts (and it works on YT Music)

It does not work anymore ... The Video Player just "disappears" and dont play Videos. Its like the background color from Youtube and than nothing. I use Firefox, tried disable all my extensions ... Does not work :(

goodtube is amazing! it blocks ads on youtube and lets me focus. it blocks all interruptions and lets me navigate through youtube without any ads. recommended!!!!

Goodtube works amazingly. It blocks all my adds the ui is helpful and adds lots of features to youtube that were never there and im super appreciative of. Getting rid of shorts has increased my workflow tremendiously. :))

been using GoodTube for a while since YT started detecting UBlock Origin - this thing is an absolute lifesaver for me, and I am super lucky to have found something as incredible and undetectable as this. i like how it also lets me get rid of shorts too, which means i can search for stuff easier

overall, this has been an incredible hidden gem, and I am really glad I found this after UBlock got detected

Kind of a bummer that they went for a paid model from an open source model. But thankfully, they're still charitable at heart so at least I know it's for a good reason.

Nevertheless, A very good plugin for youtube that gives back control to its user to enjoy youtube like back in the olden days.

Brilliant. I’ve been using this for a long time and it’s finally an extension. It does include a two dollar *one-time* payment now which to me is very worth it (compared to paying monthly for youtube premium, imagine). I like that it brings back the old YT algorithm and tbh blocks out way more than ads. Kudos 👏
