Unlike other tools that rely on slow external servers, this extension runs a Stockfish engine directly in your browser for maximum speed and reliability.

- Real-Time Analysis: Automatically detects moves and updates the evaluation instantly.
- Visual Cues: Choose between Highlight Squares or Directional Arrows to see the best moves.
- Evaluation Bar: A visual bar that shows who is winning and by how much (Green for advantage, Red for disadvantage).
- Multi-Move Support: View up to 3 best lines simultaneously to understand your options.
- Fully Configurable: Adjust the engine Depth (calculation power) and Skill Level (0-20) to match your needs.
- Privacy First: No user data is collected or sent to any server. All analysis happens locally on your machine.
How to Use Grandmaster Vision:
- Open a Game: Go to any match or puzzle on Chess.com.
- Locate the Panel: You will see a dark, floating panel named "GM Vision" on the screen top right area. You can drag this panel by clicking and holding the header to move it anywhere you like.
- Start the Engine: Click the Toggle Switch at the top of the panel to turn the engine ON.
Customize Your View:
- Visual: Switch between "Squares" (colored boxes) or "Arrows" (lines pointing to the move).
- Moves: Use the slider to show the top 1, 2, or 3 best moves.
- Depth: Slide to the right for deeper, Grandmaster-level calculation (slower) or left for instant speed (faster).
- Skill: Adjust the engine strength from 0 (Novice) to 20 (Max Strength).
- Read the Eval Bar: The bar below the sliders shows the game state. If it fills to the right (Green), you are winning. If it shrinks to the left (Red), you are in trouble!
