About this extension
GuardHero: EagleEye is a powerful, privacy-first ad and tracker blocker that protects your browsing experience without compromising speed or usability.

Ad & Tracker Blocking
EagleEye blocks over 30,000 known tracking and advertising domains using optimized filter rules sourced from EasyList and EasyPrivacy. Blocking happens instantly at the network level using Chrome's Declarative Net Request API, ensuring zero impact on page load performance.

Per-Site Control
Not every site needs blocking. EagleEye lets you trust specific websites with a single click. Toggle protection on or off for any domain directly from the popup — your preferences are saved automatically.

Visual Element Picker
See an annoying banner, overlay, or widget that slipped through? Use the built-in element picker to visually select any element on the page and create a custom hiding rule. No technical knowledge required — just point, click, and it's gone.

Custom Filter Management
View, enable, disable, or delete your custom filters anytime from the Filters panel. Each filter shows the CSS selector, target domain, and current status so you're always in control.

Request Logger
Want to see exactly what's being blocked and allowed? Enable the built-in request logger to monitor all network activity for the current page in real time. Each entry shows the action (blocked/allowed), domain, request type, and reason.

Statistics Dashboard
Track how many ads and trackers EagleEye has blocked — both for the current session and all time. The top blocked domains list shows you which trackers are most active across the sites you visit.

Privacy First
EagleEye processes everything locally on your device. No browsing data is sent to external servers. No accounts required. No tracking of your activity.
