Scam. Honey uses its own (worse) coupons and steals credit for affiliate sales.

This app is a scam. It never actually finds me any coupons, it steals money from creators, and it actively gives me worse coupons when better ones exist elsewhere online.

Very rarely have coupons that work. It uses its own coupons, which makes it look like it is actually trying to find coupons.

It over rides any existing cookies that would give affiliate revenue to creators you are trying to support. Even worse it over rides the Aeroplan cookie when making purchases and has cost me a ton of aeroplan miles.

Scam! they get paid to not give you the best discount and they also steal the affiliate links you might click on from content creators

Scam. Avoid. Uninstall.
When you access a product through an affiliate link, Honey will replace the website's affiliate cookies with their own, effectively stealing the affiliate fee from the influencers who brought you to the website in the first place.
They also seem not to show the best coupon deals on purpose when a website pays them to do so. Avoid at any cost, uninstall if you have it.
There's currently a lawsuit by the youtuber Legal Eagle about this.
