Privacy policy
Last updated April 22, 2026
Hops is a go-link platform built for teams. This policy describes what we collect, why, and your rights over that data. It applies to every surface we operate: usehops.co, app.usehops.co, r.usehops.co, and any workspace-claimed subdomain of usehops.co.
What we collect
Account data — email address, name, profile picture, and workspace membership. Provided via your IdP (WorkOS AuthKit, Google, or SAML/OIDC).
Workspace content — go-links you create (slug, destination URL, description, tags), aliases, and audit events.
Usage data — click counts per link, last-used timestamps, link health probe results. Aggregated per workspace; we do not log individual users' click histories.
Integration data — OAuth tokens for providers you connect (GitHub, Jira, Notion, Slack). Tokens are stored encrypted at rest in Neon Postgres; we use them only to enrich link previews and return federated search results, never to write data back to those providers unless you explicitly act.
Telemetry — Sentry (errors), PostHog (product analytics with workspace-level aggregation). IP addresses are not persisted beyond transient request logs.
How we use it
To run the product: resolve your go-links, authenticate you, send transactional email, bill your workspace, and surface integration data when you request it. We do not sell data, share it with advertisers, or train models on it.
Sub-processors
Cloudflare — hosting and edge resolution
Neon — Postgres database
WorkOS — authentication and SSO/SCIM
Stripe — billing (only when you upgrade to a paid plan)
PostHog — product analytics
Sentry — error monitoring
Your rights
Workspace admins can export all workspace data via the CSV export in Settings, or via the /v1 API. Any user can request account deletion by emailing privacy@usehops.co — we will delete or anonymize your account data within 30 days.
