Simplistic and without making huge changes.

1) The NewTabPage (NTP) is darkgrey by default. Unlike many plug-ins that for a brief second they are the default white background before changing to their customized colors.
That little nuisance has been resolved with this script/extension.

Con:
Color theme is a simple Dark Grey/Light Orange combination.

Pro:
The source code is easy to tweak colors!
