Mnemonic Address is a Firefox extension for generating BIP39 mnemonics and deriving cryptocurrency addresses locally in the browser.

Data handled locally
- BIP39 mnemonic phrases are generated and processed locally inside the extension.
- Private keys and seed material are not transmitted by the extension.
- The extension does not store mnemonic phrases or private keys.

BSC balance lookup
When BSC (BSC) is selected and an address is generated or derived, the extension sends only the derived public BSC address to the configured public BSC JSON-RPC endpoint (https://bsc-dataseed.bnbchain.org/) using the eth_getBalance method. This is required to display the native BSC balance.
