About this extension
Image Describer (local visual) lets you right-click any image to analyze it using a visual language model running on your own computer or local network. It securely sends the image to your configured local endpoint—like Qwen3VL-8B-Instruct on localhost or a private LAN address—and uses a customizable prompt such as “Describe this image” to get a text description. The response then opens immediately in a new tab, offering a fast and private way to understand images without using the cloud.
