AI Providers: Your prompts are sent to AI providers (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Groq) using your own API keys
Cloud Services: AWS for hosting and storage

Note: We do not have partnerships with job boards. The extension interacts with LinkedIn, Indeed, and other platforms on your behalf using your credentials.

Job Platforms: LinkedIn, Indeed, Greenhouse, Lever, etc. (subject to their own privacy policies)
AI Services: OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, Groq (when you provide API keys)
Google OAuth: For optional Google sign-in
Browser Extension Permissions
Our Chrome extension requires certain permissions:

Storage: Save your preferences and authentication token locally
Active Tab: Read page content to detect job application forms
Scripting: Auto-fill form fields on job sites
Host Permissions: Access specific job platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, ATS systems)

Access: View your personal data in the Profile page
Update: Edit your information anytime
Delete: Request account deletion (contact support@jobai.dev)
Export: Download your AI dataset and application history
Opt-Out: Disable specific features or stop using the service
8. Cookies and Tracking
Authentication: JWT token stored in localStorage
Preferences: Dark mode, sidebar state stored locally
No Third-Party Tracking: We do not use Google Analytics or similar services
9. Children's Privacy
JobAI is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to Privacy Policy
We may update this policy periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
Data Retention
Active Accounts: Data retained while account is active
Deleted Accounts: Data deleted within 30 days of deletion request
Legal Holds: Data may be retained longer if required by law
International Users
Your data may be transferred to and stored in servers located in the United States. By using JobAI, you consent to this transfer.
