About this extension

Stop revisiting jobs you've already applied to. Job Application Tracker saves you hours every week by marking jobs you've seen, reviewed, or applied to — directly on the job listing pages and inside your Gmail inbox.

How It Works

When you visit a job listing on any supported site, a floating panel appears letting you mark the job as Applied, Reviewed, or Not Interested. Next time you see that job — whether on the same site, a different site, or in a Gmail alert email — it's instantly flagged with a coloured badge so you know you've already dealt with it.

Key Features

Visual Status Badges — Green for Applied, Blue for Reviewed, Grey for Not Interested. Badges appear directly on job listing pages and inside Gmail emails.

Gmail Integration — Scans job alert emails from LinkedIn, Indeed, Reed, TotalJobs, and other platforms. Shows which jobs in the email you've already tracked, with inline action buttons for new ones.

Keyword Highlighting — Highlight important terms (skills, salary ranges, technologies) across all job pages with customisable colour-coded groups.

Application Log — View a chronological record of every job you've applied to, with dates and direct links back to the original listings.

Statistics Dashboard — See at a glance how many jobs you've applied to, reviewed, or skipped, broken down by platform.

Export & Backup — Export your tracked jobs as JSON. Backup to Google Drive and restore on another device.

Firefox Sync — Syncs your most recent tracked jobs across devices signed into the same Firefox account.

Privacy

All data is stored locally in your browser using browser.storage.local and browser.storage.sync. No data is collected, transmitted, or shared with any external server. The extension has zero analytics, zero tracking, and zero network requests. Your job search data stays entirely on your device.
