Privacy Policy

MOCHIMIN PTE. LTD. ("we", "us", "our") operates Lazy Prompter ("LP"), available as a web app at app.lazyprompter.com and as a browser extension for Chrome and Firefox. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
- Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored only as a secure hash, never in plain text). If you sign up via Google, we receive your name and email address from Google.
Usage Data
We collect information about how you use LP, including prompts you generate and save, features you use and how often, device type, browser, and operating system, and IP address and approximate location.
Browser Extension Data
When you use the LP browser extension, we process the text you actively select or type into the extension, and — when you are signed in and sync is enabled — your account session token (see Section 4 for full detail).
Payment Information
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number. We receive only the last 4 digits, card type, and billing address for receipts.
- How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and operate LP, process payments and send receipts, communicate about your account (password resets, billing), send product updates and announcements (you can opt out), improve LP based on usage patterns, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
- Your Prompts and AI Processing
Your prompts are stored securely in your account so you can access them across devices.
To generate a prompt from your idea, the text you submit is sent to third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI and Microsoft Azure OpenAI) acting as our processors. These providers process your input solely to return a result; under their API terms they do not use your input to train their models.
We do NOT use your prompts to train AI models.
We do NOT sell or share your prompts with third parties for their own purposes.
You can delete your prompts at any time.
4. Browser Extension
The LP browser extension adds a "Spotlight" overlay that lets you turn an idea into a complete prompt and save prompts to your account. We designed it to access as little as possible:
It runs only when you ask it to. The overlay is injected into the page you are currently on only when you explicitly trigger it (clicking the toolbar icon, using a keyboard shortcut, or the right-click menu). It does not run in the background on the websites you visit.
It does not read your browsing. The extension does not monitor, collect, or transmit the content of pages you visit, your form data, passwords, or browsing history. The only page text it processes is the text you actively select or type into the extension, which is sent to our API to generate or save a prompt.
Authentication sync. When you are signed in at app.lazyprompter.com and sync is enabled, the extension reads your session token from the web app and stores it locally in your browser's extension storage so your prompts can sync. This token is transmitted only to our own API over HTTPS and is never sent to any other website or third party.
Local-only mode. If you are not signed in or sync is turned off, the extension works locally and your saved prompts stay in your browser.
Categories of data the extension handles: authentication information (your session token), website content (only the text you actively select or input), and personally identifying information (your account email/name once signed in). We do not sell extension data, do not use it for advertising, and do not collect your web browsing activity.
- Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers who help us operate LP (hosting, email, analytics), AI providers that generate prompts (e.g., OpenAI, Microsoft Azure OpenAI), payment processors (Stripe), and legal authorities when required by law or to protect our rights. All service providers are bound by data protection agreements.
- Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and remember your preferences. We use privacy-focused analytics (Plausible) to understand usage patterns. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.
- Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access a copy of your personal data, correct inaccurate data, delete your data ("right to be forgotten"), export your data in a portable format, opt out of marketing communications, and object to certain processing of your data.
To exercise these rights, email hello@lazyprompter.com.
- Data Retention
We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we need to retain it for legal or fraud-prevention purposes.
- Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS), secure password hashing, restricted employee access to personal data, and periodic security reviews.
- International Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including standard contractual clauses for EU data transfers.
- Children's Privacy
LP is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
- Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days in advance. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the latest revision.
