Library Cleaner for ChatGPT is an unofficial browser extension and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI. ChatGPT is a trademark of OpenAI.


The extension operates only on the ChatGPT Library page at https://chatgpt.com/library.

It reads file metadata returned by ChatGPT, including file identifiers, names, file types, sizes, and deletion status.

After an explicit user command, the extension sends requests directly to chatgpt.com to:

• list Library items,
• display storage usage,
• move selected items to Trash,
• permanently delete selected items from Recently deleted.

The extension uses the current ChatGPT session authentication information to authorize these requests. Authentication information is kept only in memory while the ChatGPT page is open.

Authentication information is not saved in extension storage, logged, sold, shared with the developer, or transmitted to any server other than chatgpt.com.


The only persistent value stored by the extension is the selected interface language: Polish or English.

The extension does not retain:

• file metadata,
• account information,
• deletion history,
• browsing history,
• analytics,
• telemetry,
• advertising identifiers.

The extension does not contact the developer's servers or any advertising, analytics, or tracking service.

It communicates only with chatgpt.com to perform operations explicitly requested by the user.
