This Privacy Policy describes the data handling practices of the "LM Studio Sidebar" browser extension ("the add-on").

1. No Data Collection

This add-on is designed with privacy as a core principle. It does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any of your personal information or browsing activity. All operations are performed locally on your computer.

2. Data You Provide

The add-on handles two types of information provided by you:

• Chat Prompts: The text you type into the sidebar's chat interface is sent directly to your locally running LM Studio server instance. This data is never sent to the add-on developer or any other third party.
• Server URL: The add-on allows you to configure the URL of your LM Studio server. This URL is saved using the browser's built-in local storage (browser.storage.local) on your machine only, so you don't have to enter it every time. This setting is never transmitted anywhere.

3. Communication

All communication performed by this add-on is strictly between the add-on itself and the local server URL you provide in its settings. There is no communication with any external servers.

4. Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated in the future, the changes will be detailed in the add-on's release notes. Continued use of the add-on after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
