This extension captures screen content only when explicitly triggered by the user via a hotkey or button. Captured image data is transmitted solely to a local server running on the user's own machine (http://127.0.0.1:5000) for OCR processing. No user data, images, or browsing history are collected by the developer or transmitted to external servers, except for the necessary request sent by the local server to the Google Translate public interface to fetch the translation.
