MailBots Privacy Policy

MailBots processes only the information required to provide temporary email inboxes.

Data processed:
- An anonymous device token generated locally in the browser.
- Temporary email addresses created by the user.
- Normalized text from messages delivered to those addresses.
- Authentication information such as OTP verification codes contained in those messages.
- Local preferences such as consent, theme and notification state.

Purpose:
This information is used only to create and manage temporary inboxes, display received messages and OTP codes, and notify the user when mail arrives.

Retention:
Temporary addresses and normalized message text are retained for no more than 24 hours. Raw MIME messages and attachments are not stored.

Sharing:
MailBots does not sell user data, use it for advertising, analytics, credit decisions or unrelated purposes. No browsing history or website content is collected.

Deletion:
Users can delete individual addresses or select “Delete my data” to remove addresses, messages, subscriptions and the anonymous device identity.
